LL Cool J took to Twitter to respond to being called "the forefather of pop rap." On Monday, LL grabbed attention with a tweet, which reads, "Me being called the forefather of pop rap is very confusing. What the f*ck are you talking about?? LOL."
LL has yet to follow up to reveal where he was told about his new title, but some Twitter users believe it should've gone to another artist, like Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff. Other social media users threw out names like Drake, MC Hammer, and Vanilla Ice, and stated that LL is more a forefather for "hardcore rap." Do you agree?
