Previously, footage surfaced of Black Rob sending condolences and prayers to the family of DMX, all while doing so from a hospital bed while visibly looking tired and out of his element. The video ultimately went viral because of fans and peers of the artist’s reactions. Now, an update has been given on the status of Black Rob.

Via Black Rob’s Instagram account, a video of former Bad Boy label mate Mark Curry was posted, who gave an update on Black Rob. Curry said, “It's overwhelming to how many people care about our legends, but he just got discharged from the hospital. This is something that Rob's been going through, so I don't know who put it out there like whatever it may be.” Curry went on to say,”He's good but we gon' talk later on today."

Another post surfaced on Rob’s IG, where the rapper addressed the rumors that popped up after the video. Black Rob said, “Don’t always believe what the media post without true context! Cats always want to spread negativity for a come up.” Black Rob then revealed what happened to him in another video, noting that he has had four strokes in the last few years and also revealed he doesn’t have a place to live as of now. Previously, news of DMX’s passing at the age of 50 surfaced as the legendary rapper suffered from a cardiac arrest. Many were sending out their prayers to the family of DMX as well as the late rapper himself, which included Black Rob. However, many were concerned at the video of Black Rob that surfaced, with the rapper in a hospital bed sending condolences to the family of X.

In the footage, Black Rob could be seen barely awake, speaking on DMX. The rapper said, “ What's goin' on. I don't know, the pain is crazy, man. It's helping me out though, it's making me realize I got a lot to go.” When asked about DMX, Rob said, “I feel everything about X. X was positive. Love to X." There has been no update on what’s happening with Black Rob’s health, but prayers up to the Bad Boy legend.
