Former NFL wide receiver Travis Rudolph was arrested on Wednesday for first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder with a firearm in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Sheriff's officers responded to a double shooting Wednesday morning in Lake Park, which resulted in the death of one male while another was transported to the hospital. A press release from the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office claimed the shooting occurred after a fight broke out shortly after midnight. Rudolph was reportedly booked into jail around 8 A.M.

Before entering the NFL, Rudolph attended Florida State University where he was the team's leading receiver in 2015 and 2016. The 25-year-old, who's also the cousin of former NFL star Devin Hester, went undrafted after leaving college early but had stints with the New York Giants and Miami Dolphins before playing in the Canadian Football League.

Rudolph is being held without bail until his first court appearance on April 8.
