According to reports, the Oklahoma City Thunder have released Meyers Leonard after being traded from the Heat amid his anti-Semitic comment during a Twitch stream.

Leonard was part of a recent trade where the "Thunder acquired Leonard and a draft pick in a trade where they dealt Trevor Ariza to the Heat." When Leonard was traded in mid-March, the Thunder announced that he would not be part of the organization.

"Meyers was a key part of our team that made a run to the NBA Finals and we will always be grateful for his contributions and leadership last season," the Heat said in a statement following Leonard getting traded. "His recent comments were very hurtful and disappointing, but, we are encouraged that he has spent this last week meeting with community leaders, rabbis and Holocaust survivors to greater understand the impact of his words and we hope that his education will continue."

Despite Leonard being an unrestricted free agent, it's not immediately clear that there will be a market for his services.
