OMB Peezy was previously arrested after he was accused of being connected to a shooting that occurred at a Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg video shoot in February 2021. The rapper’s bond was set at $60,000, and he was released from being locked up since then. Now, Peezy has taken to Twitter to address the situation, and asked some questions of his own.

Via Twitter, OMB Peezy questioned why people want to see him locked up, saying, “I can’t sleep. [I'm] wonderin why they wanna take my freedom from me. I ain’t never been a bad person. I look out for everybody. I would give a stranger my last dollar. I’m at a point in my life where I don’t wanna be around nothin but positive energy.” The rapper then posted the hashtag “#toodeepfortears” along with an emoji showing a single tear. As of now, OMB Peezy has been required to wear an ankle monitor as part of his release agreement and reportedly surrendered his passport. Stay tuned for more details.

Rapper OMB Peezy has been released from jail following his arrest in connection with the shooting that occurred at the Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg video shoot on Feb 21. His bond was reportedly set at $60,000 which was covered, but he is required to wear an ankle monitor as part of his release agreement. OMB Peezy is also required to surrender his passport.

Rapper OMB Peezy was arrested in Atlanta on Monday (March 1) and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during commission. According to SayCheeseTV, his arrest was tied to the shooting at Roddy Ricch and 42 Dugg's music video shoot on February 21, which wounded 3 people. 

A tweet from OMB Peezy's page showed him appearing in court along with the caption, "#FREEPEEZY #TDFT." The rapper also shared a message on his Instagram Stories, as he told fans that he'll be home soon, and he also proclaimed his innocence.
