Sosa Geek revealed on Thursday that he was turning himself in to police without providing an explanation or revealing his charges. Since his announcement, reports that the rapper was physically abusing his ex-girlfriend for months have circulated across social media.

A woman named Demaris, who claims to have been the rapper's girlfriend for months until recently, accused Sosa Geek of abusing her regularly throughout their relationship.

"Lol this cheesy d*** n**** got the nerve to BEAT ME LAST NIGHT BAD BUS MY WHOLE LIP CHEAT ON ME THEN COME BACK IN THE MORNING BEATIN ME AGAIN SPLIT MY MOUTH OPEN, BUS MY JAW, SOME MORE!" she wrote in her Instagram Story. "Cops came i still defended you never put you in jail tbh i been getting beat on [every]day for the last 6-7 months broken nose!!!!! BUST FACE BUST LIPSSSSSS EVERY OTHER DAY YALL KEEP [ASKING] ME WHY I AM SO SKINNY I AM [DEPRESSED]."

Demaris explained that she moved out of her old apartment due to constant noise complaints from the alleged abuse. She expressed shame in going through the abusive cycle and recalled multiple incidents of being abused by Sosa Geek.

"There's been nights I've slept in my car scared because he has a key to our [apartment] and he lied and said he doesn't have his old [apartment] anymore (which he does) and he's been using it to cheat on me then come back to me!!!! And beat on me and f*** me," Demaris added.

She also posted photos of her injuries, which included a gash on her head, busted lips, black eyes, a broken nose, and bruises on various parts of her body. Some of the photo included messages that read, "Surviving @sosageek," and "I'm done defending you." 

"Completely used me, manipulated, controlled me, and abused me MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY," Demaris wrote. "I'm so hurt but I can finally be free n slowly find myself again."

Brooklyn rapper Sosa Geek took to his Instagram Stories to reveal he was turning himself over to police on Thursday (March 4). 

He wrote, "SMH free me only god kno the truth I love y'all," and he added, "Love all y'all ima lost for words right now like [for real] but ima turning myself in now love all y'all thanks to all my fans that still support me." 

It's unclear what charges Sosa Geek is facing, but we'll be sure to update you as more information is available.
