Lil Uzi Vert finally went public with City Girls member JT after months of rumors and speculation. Despite remaining cryptic about their relationship, JT and Uzi going public comes amid a leaked text conversation between Lil Uzi Vert and his ex-girlfriend Brittany Byrd.
The leaked text thread shows Lil Uzi Vert allegedly telling his ex not to worry about JT and accuses the City Girls member of lying about their romance. After the text message was posted, the Philadelphia rapper started claiming JT by tweeting, "JT is the one," on Sunday night.
When he was called out for leaving Byrd for JT, he responded, "I had 2 be real with myself I love JT and y'all will 2," before calling her his "Darkqueen."
JT doubled down on Lil Uzi Vert's claims by tweeting a few taunts directed towards Byrd.
"Why b****** be acting like this the first time they got cheated on?" JT wrote. "Might be the longest but not the first! Hold you breath!"
She also directly responded to the leaked text conversation and tweeted, "Well I tried to tell you a year ago he was lying! You called me delusional. He beg me worst but like actually in real life. He says the same thing about her I ain't delusional no more, I bet!"
JT continued addressing Byrd by listing a timeline of events between her and Lil Uzi Vert, while claiming Byrd hadn't seen the rapper since October. Lil Uzi Vert addressed the unfolding drama by tweeting, "It get messy sometimes but We good. Just trust me...."
