True to his word, Quavo picked up Bobby Shmurda following his release from doing a 6-year stint in prison. 

Footage surfaced of the two rappers exiting a private jet that Quavo had waiting for Shmurda. In another video, Bobby could also be heard praising Quavo, saying, "This is my brother right here. He ain't ever switch up, the whole 6 years." It was also reported that they are wasting no time getting back to work on new music, and even shooting a music video together. News surfaced noting that Bobby Shmurda will be getting a conditional release from prison on February 23, according to court documents. Now, Quavo has revealed that he will be picking up Bobby Shmurda upon his release from prison.

Bobby is currently in the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York, and via Billboard, Quavo gave an update on the journey. Quavo said, “I'm going to get my guy. I’m personally gonna go pick up Bobby Shmurda. I'm bout to go get him. I'm gonna let him show you how I'm gonna pick him up, yessir." Bobby and Quavo, along with the Migos got close when  Shmurda and Migos were teasing a joint ‘Shmigo’ mixtape that was put on hold. When speaking about Bobby’s return to music, Quavo said, “It’s going to be big.” Stay tuned for more updates.
