According to TMZ, Trick Daddy took a plea deal after being arrested for cocaine possession and driving under the influence in January 2020. He pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine and getting credit for time served. In exchange, his DUI charges were dropped.
Bodycam footage showed police obtaining a dollar bill with a powdery substance rolled up, which was suspected to be cocaine at the time of his arrest. He also failed a field sobriety test, leading to the DUI charges. The cocaine charge led to a low-level, third-degree felony, and he will not be on probation following the plea deal.
Harris Gilbert, Trick Daddy's attorney, addressed the situation, telling TMZ, "As part of the plea he was also able to give back to the community he loves so much with a donation to Camillus House homeless shelter."

According to reports, Trick Daddy was arrested for cocaine possession and driving under the influence.
On the arrest report, the police noted they found Trick Daddy sleeping behind the wheel on early Saturday morning, which prompted them to ask the rapper where he was heading. The rapper said he came from the club and dropped someone off previously. The police then requested Trick if he had anything to drink the night before and noted that his eyes were bloodshot red and that he was slurring his speech, which made the police conduct a sobriety test.
Police reportedly searched Trick Daddy’s belongings and claim they found a dollar that cocaine residue on it. Trick Daddy was charged with cocaine possession and a DUI, and he was hit with a bond for $5000 for the cocaine charge and $1,000 for the DUI.
