Future recently took to Instagram with an interesting flex: a pair of Birkenstock shoes that cost $48,000. Many have been wondering what makes the sandal so special, and Future took to his IG stories to reveal why the Birkenstocks were different than the average pair.
The rapper posted a screenshot of the website where the sandals can be purchased, along with the price tag attached. Along with that, the details in the screenshot show that the customized sandal was actually created using deconstructed Birkin bags. The rapper then posted photos of himself showing off the new look, saying, “If u see me fighting a crocodile help the crocodile."
The company behind the slides, MSCHF noted that others like Kehlani and anonymous “billionaire art collectors” have purchased their latest work. Take a look above.
