Super Bowl LV found many people placing bets on who would win between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. One better, Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale, came up after betting $3.46 million on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3.5 points in the match up. After his bet, the Buccaneers went on to beat the Chiefs 31-9, which made Mattress Mack a winner for sure.

In order for Mattress Mack to win his bet, the Buccaneers had to not lose by more than three points and did not need to score any points.

Mack reportedly placed the bet through DraftKings, and the bet was a way to hedge one of the store owner’s promotions for his furniture, where he offers customers a chance to win free furniture if Tampa won. As a result of his win, Mattress Mack won $3.46 million.
