Update 02/02/2021 2:09pm:

Marilyn Manson has now responded to abuse allegations made by actor Evan Rachel Wood and other people who accused the artist of abuse. The artist took to Instagram and denied the allegations against him, saying the statements made are “horrible distortions of reality.”

Manson went on to say “Obviously, my art and my life have long been magnets for controversy, but these recent claims about me are horrible distortions of reality. My intimate relationships have always been entirely consensual with like-minded partners. Regardless of how — and why — others are now choosing to misrepresent the past, that is the truth.”

Update 02/01/2021 7:34pm:

Marilyn Manson was dropped by Loma Vista Recordings Monday afternoon after actress Evan Rachel Wood and others accused the rock artist of abuse.

"In light of today’s disturbing allegations by Evan Rachel Wood and other women naming Marilyn Manson as their abuser, Loma Vista will cease to further promote his current album, effective immediately," the company announced in a statement.

Evan Rachel Wood exposed her former fiance as her abuser on Instagram Monday morning. Manson and Wood went public in 2007, when she was 19 and he was 37. Her post was followed by models Sarah McNeilly and Ashley Lindsay Morgan, and an artist who goes by the name Gabriella, who all gave detailed accounts of their experiences with Manson.

Manson has yet to respond to the allegations, but Loma Vista added that they won't be working with Manson in the future either.

Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood took to Instagram on Monday (February 1) to state, "The name of my abuser is Brian Warner, also known to the world as Marilyn Manson."

She went on to claim that Manson "started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years." Evan added, " I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent."

In 2018, Wood testified before a House Judiciary Subcommittee in an effort to get the Sexual Assault Survivors Bill of Rights passed in all 50 states. She stated during the hearing, "My experience with domestic violence was this: Toxic mental, physical and sexual abuse which started slow but escalated over time, including threats against my life, severe gaslighting and brainwashing, waking up to the man that claimed to love me raping what he believed to be my unconscious body."

In May 2018, a police report was filed against Manson citing unspecified sex crimes that allegedly took place in 2011. It was declined by the Los Angeles District’s Attorney's office in August 2018 for lack of corroborating evidence.

Manson's attorney, Howard E. King, called the allegations "completely delusional or part of a calculated attempt to generate publicity" at the time. Now, four other women have come forward on Monday with their own allegations against Manson. You can read more of what they had to say above.
