In a VladTV interview from 2020, Michael Jai White spoke on UFC fighter Mike Perry using the n-word, directing it at him after an exchange they had via Twitter. Michael Jai White noted that the white fighter using the word towards him is unacceptable and that he will have to answer for calling him the derogatory term. Now, Mike Perry has taken to Twitter to speak on his past usage of the word, using Black History Month as a catalyst for an apology that was issued.
Mike Perry said, “I know some won’t care but some might appreciate this. This is for my son and me as a son to be different than my father. Also black history month I would like to apologize for any time I ever said n***a, plain and simple you won’t hear it from me anymore. #NoDisrespect." Take a look above.
