According to reports, the NBA is in talks with the NBPA about hosting an All-Star Game in Atlanta. The two parties are eyeing March as the ideal time to provide pandemic relief to the Atlanta community and support Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the area.

Back in November, the league announced that it would punt on the ASG this season due to COVID-19 but "NBPA president Chris Paul is a proponent of hosting a single game on March 7 during the midseason break that is scheduled for March 5-10 as a way to raise money and awareness for HBCUs and COVID-19 relief."

The New York Times' Marc Stein reported that all-star selections will be made this season regardless if there is an ASG or not. While an ASG would be a welcome sight, it is important to note that the league hasn't yet released its schedule for the second half of the season.
