In the wake of the blockbuster James Harden trade, NBA analysts are giving their respective recaps of Harden's tenure in Houston. The Rockets' last hurrah to keep James in Houston was bringing Russell Westbrook to the team last season. However, that experiment didn't last beyond the bubble, and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins apparently knows what forced Westbrook to demand a trade.

"[If they had some days off], James was on a private [jet] to Cabo! On Tilman Fertitta's private [jet] at that! Russ is like... 'I ain't with all the partying," Perkins said while appearing on Basketball News.

Despite their close friendship and prior experience playing alongside one another, Harden's off-the-court lifestyle was clearly not conducive for Westbrook and the type of environment he'd hope to foster to compete for championships. It should be interesting to see how Harden adjusts to his new situation in Brooklyn and whether he will carry over his behavior from Houston with him to Brooklyn.
