Christian Wood had one of the best games of his NBA career on Thursday (January 14) night, scoring 27 points on 10-for-18 shooting, including 5-of-7 3-pointers, leading the Rockets to beat the Spurs, 109-105. This was the Rockets' first game since James Harden was traded to the Brooklyn Nets after saying the Houston team was  "just not good enough" the night before the trade.

During a postgame interview on "Inside the NBA," Shaq apologized to Wood for not being familiar with his game before Thursday night. Wood then responded with a jab, telling Shaq, "Oh, you're a casual," suggesting the former NBA superstar doesn't pay as much attention to basketball now.

Wood garnered a lot of attention last season as a member of the Detroit Pistons. After a great season, Wood became one of the most highly sought after free agents before signing with the Rockets on a three-year, $41 million contract.
