Azealia Banks alarmed fans after posting a series of photos and videos on Instagram that presumably showed her digging up her dead cat and boiling it. The 29-year-old entertainer captioned one of the posts, "Lucifer 2009-2020. My Dear kitty. Thank you for everything. A legend. An icon. Forever a serval serve."
From there, Azealia shared photos of her boiling the cat and preserving its skull remains and other bones. Viewers were questioning whether Banks was pulling an elaborate prank, while others were calling on Instagram to ban her account.
This isn't Azealia's first run-in with concerning behavior regarding animals. In 2016, she came under fire for sharing photos of a closet where she slaughtered chickens for three years while practicing brujería. You can check out her very graphic photos from her recent Instagram posts above.
