Diamond “Baby Blue” Smith of Pretty Ricky was previously accused of falsifying documents to get a COVID-19 relief loan through the program, and also got accused of purchasing a Ferrari with some of the money. Since then, Baby Blue has made his first appearance in court, where he entered a not guilty plea on conspiracy charges to commit fraud according to court records.

While at the hearing that took place on January 6, federal prosecutors filed a new charge against the singer, re-filing the conspiracy to commit fraud charge. However, prosecutors are looking to seize the singer’s 2010 black Ferrari 458 Italia along with other property

The new documents that surfaced against the singer are saying the Ferrari was allegedly a part of the “proceeds” that stem from Smith’s alleged fraudulent activity. The document accuses Smith of submitting PPP loan applications for two businesses, and noted that Smith allegedly submitted a $96,000 payment to get the Ferrari, listing it as a company vehicle for his Blue Star Records imprint.
