In November 2019, Boosie was shot in Dallas, Texas while in town to attend the funeral of late rapper and friend Mo3. Boosie was reportedly outside of a strip mall in Dallas when he was shot at, resulting in him getting hit in the leg. The shooting resulted in Boosie being bound to a wheelchair until his leg is fully recovered. Since then, Boosie has addressed the shooting in a new song.
In the video footage that surfaced, Boosie can be seen smoking a blunt while he raps along with his own words. Boosie can be heard saying “Hit me in my leg but it should have been my head, I swear to God/ And the bars and extension cords, big facts, we steppin’ hard. You better keep ya 30 because if a n***a kill ya.” Watch above.
