According to Greensboro, Georgia newspaper The Herald-Journal, Gucci Mane's artist Foogiano is on the run after allegedly burning off his ankle monitor.

The Herald-Journal reported that Foogiano, real name Kwame Brown, is on probation from a 2015 burglary conviction, where he was charged with possessing a firearm as a felon. After hearing from 3 witnesses on December 14, a judge set Foogiano's cash-only bail at $50,000. The judge also recommended that he wear an ankle monitor and stay in Georgia.

However, the night he was released, Foogiano reportedly didn't charge his ankle monitor, which went dead, and he was untraceable for several hours. Later that day, the ankle monitor was charged, but officers received an alert that the ankle monitor was being tampered with. The monitor later appeared to stop working on the side of a highway in Barrow County, which is where it was retrieved with no sign of Foogiano. Officers say that the straps of the ankle monitor appeared to have been burned off.

A motion was filmed to revoke Foogiano's week-old bond, which a judge approved. Warrants were then taken out for his arrest, but no arrests have been made so far.

More details to come.
