After distancing himself from UTP Records and the failed Death Row deal, Young Buck returned home. Buck said Juvenile's bus driver reached out to him and said Sha Money XL and 50 Cent wanted to buy the track they heard Buck play when they first met. The record would become "Blood Hound" and was mixed by Eminem. During negotiations, 50 Cent learned that Young Buck was unsigned and the Nashville rapper became G-Unit's newest addition.
