According to TMZ, Tisha Campbell's divorce from Duane Martin has been finalized, and a judgment revealed that neither party is getting any child or spousal support.
Tisha will be keeping a leased property, as well as a leased 2020 BMW, while Duane will also keep a leased property, along with a 2014 Bentley, BMW scooter, and a Kawasaki motorcycle. The two will also share joint legal custody and physical custody of their minor child, with each parent getting the child on alternating weeks.
This comes after an interview earlier this year, where Tisha revealed that she had "Nothing in the bank. Nothing." She added, "I had maybe $7 to my name and I was scared. It was like I was starting all over."
Speaking more about starting over, Tisha explained, "The fact that I did raise children who didn’t care about the big mansion that I had or that we had to start over or any of it. Starting over is not always the easiest thing, but it is the necessary thing. It’s a beautiful devastation."
During their divorce, Tisha accused Duane of hiding money from her, which was a serious allegation considering they filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2016. Tisha also claimed that Duane used Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith for a bankruptcy scam after taking out a $1.5 million loan through the Smith's company. Duane was accused of flipping the house and pocketing the profits without disclosing the details in his bankruptcy case.
Will and Jada reportedly didn't know about the situation, so they didn't face any consequences, but officials requested that Duane's discharge of debts be revoked and that he turn over the money that he was hiding. When the house sold for $2.45 million, Will was paid the $1.5 million he loaned Duane, and Duane was ordered to pay $485k to the bankruptcy estate. According to reports, the fraud lawsuit was dismissed per their settlement.
