Gianni Russo continued his discussion about Marilyn Monroe by commenting on her legacy. Russo said that he had a few memorable items from the actress, which would be considered valuable to various collectors. Russo said he had a pillow case that Monroe kissed and signed, as well as a $50 check that she wrote him for doing her hair. He also claimed that he was offered $250,000 for a collage he made of his photos with the actress.
While Russo agreed that Marilyn Monroe was the ultimate sex symbol, he added that she felt the burden of being expected to live up to men's expectations. He explained that she moved to New York because she was tired of being used as just a sex symbol and wanted to prove she could act. Before retelling his story about the first time he was intimate with Monroe, he claimed that she studied for a year to sharpen her acting skills.
