NBA fans were preparing themselves for another superteam after rumors that Kevin Durant talked to James Harden about joining the Brooklyn Nets amid Harden's displeasure with the Houston Rockets went public. But during a recent (virtual) sitdown with reporters, Durant denied the rumors outright. "Anybody can make up a story that gets traction," he said. "I was focused on rehab." KD said that he "heard the noise" but it wasn't any planning involved.

While the potential Big 3 with Durant, Harden, and Kyrie Irving would've been something to watch, many analysts couldn't figure out how this might work on the court.
