Previously, DJ Akademiks revealed that he was leaving ‘Everyday Struggle’ along with Complex. The social media personality also noted that ‘Everyday Struggle’ would be discontinued by December 2020 via his Twitch channel. Since then, Freddie Gibbs has responded by doubling down on his issues with Akademiks, taking to Instagram to say “N***a got fired.”
Gibbs posted clips of Akademiks’ twitch stream where the personality addressed his departure from Complex, and Gibbs gave his own commentary. Akademiks spoke on Complex giving Gibbs a “Lyricist of the Year” award after their feud began, which prompted Gibbs to say “Lyricist of the year. Real n***a of the year. Gangsta of the year. Gimme all my flowers bitch.” Along with that, Gibbs reposted his “F**k Akademiks” freestyle, where he said he would squeeze on his breasts. Watch above.
