King Von's family released a statement after laying the rapper to rest in a private ceremony over the weekend. His family started off the statement by thanking all of his fans and supporters.

"Thank you to everyone who has shown their outpouring of love for King Von," the statement read. "You all played a massive role in Von's legacy, and by continuing to play his music and sharing your stories about how he has inspired and influenced you all, you're keeping his legacy alive."

It was also announced that Von's unreleased music and interviews will be released. His team will also continue to promote his recently released album, Welcome to O'Block. The statement concluded by making fans aware that King Von had other projects that were in progress, but will be officially revealed at a later date.

King Von passed away at 26-years-old on November 6, during an altercation in Atlanta.
