Gucci Mane has sent a few taunts in Jeezy's direction ahead of their Verzuz. After referring to his rap rival as "SnoCone," Guwop fanned the flames further by posting a meme reminding his followers that he killed one of Jeezy's associates.

"Gucci Mane: go dig up ya partna n**** I bet he can't he say s***," the meme read, quoting lyrics to Gucci's 2013 Jeezy diss song, "Truth."

The meme indicated that Jeezy wouldn't want to address the situation by showing a man attempting to dive out of a courtroom.

In 2005, Gucci Mane shot and killed Jeezy associate Pookie Loc in self-defense after he was jumped. Pookie Loc's body was later found buried by a middle school. A month prior to the shooting, Jeezy and Gucci's "Icy" was released.

Gucci claimed self-defense after being charged with murder and the case was dropped in 2006 due to insufficient evidence. He spoke about the incident with Charlamagne during an interview in 2019 and expressed no remorse.

"[Pookie Loc] needed to be in the ground," Gucci Mane said claimed. "I put his a** where he supposed to be. He tried me. If somebody comes and try to kill you, yeah you know it's self-defense…you gotta do what you gotta do."

Gucci Mane and Jeezy's Verzuz battle will broadcast simultaneously on Instagram and Apple Music on November 19 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m PT.
