Megan Thee Stallion’s 2020 has found the Texas rapper facing some difficult situations, including an infamous incident where she was allegedly shot by Tory Lanez. Megan has been gearing up for the release of her album ‘Good News’ and spoke to GQ about the upcoming album and being shot in both of her feet and Lanez alleged attempt to pay her and her friend money to keep quiet about the incident.
Megan said, “Like, I never put my hands on nobody. I barely even said anything to the man who shot me when I was walking away. We were literally like five minutes away from the house. [At this point] I'm really scared because this is like right in the middle of all the protesting. Police are just killing everybody for no reason, and I'm thinking, ‘I can't believe you even think I want to take some money. Like, you just shot me.’" GQ noted that Lanez has denied trying to offer money to Megan Thee Stallion and her friend Kelsey for their silence.
