Lightweight titleholder Gervonta Davis may be facing legal trouble after his knockout victory over Leo Santa Cruz this past weekend. It's being reported that Davis caused a car wreck in Baltimore early Thursday morning.
According to police, a car ran through a red light and caused a multi-vehicle crash. The that instigated the wreck sped off from the scene while several people sustained injuries. Davis was reportedly celebrating his birthday at a nightclub located less than a mile from the scene of the crash. Witnesses identified the vehicle as a Lamborghini Urus and say Davis was behind the wheel.
No one has been arrested or charged for the crime. Police and a rep for the boxer refused to comment on if Davis was a suspect.
