Update 10/31/2020 3:34pm:

Previously, Funk Flex called out T.I. over him doing a crimestoppers commercial and spoke on the rapper allegedly testifying in court. Now, Benzino has called out Flex for coming at T.I. over the commercial.

Via Instagram, Benzino said “Shut the f**k up and play music.” Along with that, the caption of Benzino’s post said “So in a few days there could be a civil war with the other side and flex would rather another black man @troubleman31 do 15 years rather than him to a 30 sec commercial because of his influence to reach the youth to get a lighter sentence and be home with his family.”

Benzino then said “We know for a fact Flex ain't never been involved with no gangsta s**t. He just runs his gums up in there in that little studio. We know that for a fact. Never been involved in no gangsta s**t, ever. He just screams and yells. We know for a fact if Funk Flex never got involved in some gangsta s**t. We know, for a fact, that if he was offered to do a commercial, that mothaf**ka would do a whole movie to stay out of jail."

Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex went on a tirade against T.I. Tuesday night after while speaking on the upcoming Verzuz battle between Tip and Young Jeezy.

"New York City, this is the most important Verzuz battle ever," the DJ claimed. "Because I'm gonna see a commercial corndog get handed to himself by the streets and I can't wait because it can't come any quicker."

"T.I., let me tell you something about yourself. You played yourself with that 50 Cent battle because 50 was never going to step in the ring with you," Flex added. "He's getting too much bread and you knew that. Busta Rhymes scared you. You really didn't want that smoke."

Flex later referenced T.I.'s 2007 arrest for gun charges and called him a snitch and "McGruff the Crime Dog" for his Crime Stoppers commercial. When the DJ teased that he was going to play the Atlanta rapper's hottest song, he played the audio of the commercial.

Funk Flex continued his attack on T.I. by posting the Crime Stoppers commercial on Instagram.

"I have the utmost respect for @troubleman31!!!! His record making ability is stellar!" Flex wrote in the caption. "He's a positive brother who does everything for his community! He also helps others any chance he gets! BUT PLEASE DONT TRY TO PAINT A NARRATIVE IN SOCIAL MEDIA TO THE YOUNGER GENERATION THAT AINT TRUE! PEEPED ALL YOUR SLICK SOCIAL MEDIA TALK AS YOU TRIED TO ROCK PEOPLE TO SLEEP BEHIND THE SCENES! YOU HAVE AN OPINION AND I GAVE MY OPINION OF YOU! YOU DOING @crimestoppersatlanta AND TESTIFYING IN COURT / TRIAL! WHAT WOULD U CALL THE NEXT MAN THAT DID THAT? COMMENTS OFF!"

T.I. has not responded to Funk Flex's remarks.
