According to reports, rapper Silento was arrested for reckless driving after driving 143 MPH in Dekalb County, GA. Apparently Silento was evading 10 cars that were following him after leaving the club. The arrest occurred on Friday around 3 AM when police nabbed him in his 2020 BMW X3 sports SUV doing 143 MPH on Interstate-85 - a 65 MPH zone.

Authorities say when the arresting officer approached the car, Silento immediately handed over his license and said "we ain't do nothing wrong." To cop asked why was he driving so fast to which Silento said he's being followed because of his famous status. The rapper was leaving the club after promoting his latest track, "DXB Money," and told the police "if there is like 10 cars following me, I can do 143 because I am not a regular person."

That answer clearly didn't suffice as he was arrested and charged with one count for each of the following: exceeding the speed limit, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, and improper stopping. This arrest follows Silento's arrest for assault with a deadly weapon last month.
