According to reports, former Republican National Committee (RNC) chair Michael Steele has formally endorsed Joe Biden to become the next President of the United States. Steele's endorsement comes just two weeks before election day and at a time when Trump is down in the polls in key swing states.

"For four years, many have said there will come a moment. Well, this is the moment. Because this ballot is like none ever cast," said Steele in an ad released on Tuesday. "Now, I'm a lifelong Republican – and I'm still a Republican. But this ballot is how we restore the soul of our nation: Electing a good man, Joe Biden, and a trailblazer, Kamala Harris, and ensure an orderly transfer of power, or plunge our country into chaos."

"America or Trump? I choose America," Steele continued. Steele's scathing ad was cut by the Lincoln Project, the think tank comprised of "never-Trump Republicans" whose sole purpose is to defeat 45 and "restore the soul" of the Republican Party.
