News was revealed previously that Lil Yachty wrote the hit song “Act Up” for the City Girls. Since then, many have clowned the rapper for writing the song, which features lyrics about sexual acts from a woman’s perspective. However, that didn’t stop Yachty from standing behind his creation, revealing that he caught a major check from the song.
While on the CC Show, Yachty said, “Mans talking about, I wrote City Girls, I'm sure his b*tch sing it. And I wanna let him know, that was an eight-figure check.” Yachty made the correction that the check was actually seven figures, then called out people for being so close-minded. Watch above.
