Ice Cube recently took to CNN to address the backlash he’s faced for working with the Trump campaign on a plan for Black America. Cube said he reached out to both Biden and Trump’s camps, but the Trump campaign is the one who immediately jumped at trying to talk to the rapper. Now, T.I. has given his thoughts on the situation, saying people should give Cube the benefit of his reputation in the matter.

During an interview on Power 106, T.I. talked about the controversy surrounding Ice Cube and said, “What you have to do is give Cube the benefit of his reputation. If we ain’t never known or seen or caught Cube on no bullsh*t, doing no tap dancing or bending over backwards for a white supremacist, why you think he just gon’ start right now?” T.I. continued on to say if we’ve never seen Cube on something that riles up the public, why would we assume he’s looking to do that now? T.I. drove his point home by saying, give Ice Cube the credit of his credibility. Watch above.
