Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins responded to allegations of Jackson's inappropriate relationship with underaged boys. He stated that "allegations are merely allegations" and questioned why the accusers didn't bring up the allegations while Michael Jackson was alive. The producer spoke out against people that wait until a person is dead to kill their legacy and stated that he never witnessed young boys around the King of Pop while emphasizing how often he was around the King of Pop. Darkchild also responded to Akon's theory that the accusations were in response to Michael Jackson's refusal to sell his catalog.
