According to reports, Baton Rouge rapper Juice Bentley, real name Dayvon Bentley, was arrested in Denver, CO for the murder of his ex-girlfriend. Authorities arrested Bentley on Monday, Oct. 12 after being on the run since September. Investigators say that Bentley allegedly shot Brenda Mullens, 40, at her home after the two got into an argument. Mullens was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. 

At the time of the alleged shooting, Bentley was already facing a host of charges. Those charges included home invasion, illegal use of a weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, and simple criminal damage to property. The 24-year-old is scheduled to be extradited back to Louisiana where he will face charges of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, illegal use of a weapon, and felon in possession of a firearm.
