Rapper 9lokkNine, real name Jacquavius Dennard Smith, 20, was booked on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a short-barreled rifle, stemming from his alleged role in a July 23 shooting.

Police say 9lokkNine was part of a group who was involved in a shooting on that night, in which no one was hurt. An unidentified woman living in the home says she was in her living room watching TV with three of her children when her 13-year-old daughter came in and told them to "get down" before bullets riddled her home. Authorities believe the shooting is linked to a rivalry between two gangs- All Family No Friends and 438, which police have traced to at least five murders and various drive-by shootings.

9lokkNine was previously charged with attempted second-degree murder in the incident, and the new charges stem from a search that was conducted at the home he returned to after the shooting. Police reportedly discovered several firearms, including the short-barreled rifle, which was stolen from a store in Oviedo. A warrant affidavit for his arrest revealed that GlokkNine's DNA was found on the stolen firearm.

More details to come.
