Previously, it was revealed that Donald Trump had COVID-19 and did not reveal the news until after attending a fundraiser, where hundreds of people may have been exposed to the virus. Now, days later, after the news about Trump, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany has tested positive for COVID-19.

McEnany is now reportedly the 12th person in the White House to contract the virus. McEnany took to Twitter to address the news, saying, “After testing negative consistently, including every day since Thursday, I tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning while experiencing no symptoms.” The press secretary was previously seen briefing a room full of people in the White House without a mask, hours before it was revealed that Trump advisor Hope Hicks had coronavirus. McEnany noted that she would be in quarantine and would be working remotely. Along with that, McEnany noted she did not have any prior knowledge of Hicks being diagnosed with COVID-19 before holding a WH press conference this past Thursday. Take a look above.
