Update 10/02/2020 12:26pm:

SZA reportedly unfollowed Drake on Instagram after he revealed their 2008 affair. Drake admitted to the relationship in his feature verse on 21 Savage and Metro Boomin's new song, "Mr. Right Now."

"Turn your phone off, take your clothes off/I'm a sav', but I f*** her to a slow song/Yeah, said she wanna f*** to some SZA, wait/'Cause I used to date SZA back in '08/ If you cool with it, baby, she can still play," Drake rapped.

The revelation also has listeners speculating on the age difference between the two artists. In 2008, Drake would have been in his early 20s while SZA would have been 17 or 18.

SZA hasn't confirmed nor denied Drake's claim.

21 Savage dropped his latest project Savage Mode 2 with Metro Boomin on Thursday (October 1), and the track "Mr. Right Now" featuring Drake got a lot of attention.

On the track, Drake admits to dating SZA in 2008 with the line, "Turn your phone off, take your clothes off/I'm a sav', but I f*** her to a slow song/Yeah, said she wanna f*** to some SZA, wait/'Cause I used to date SZA back in '08/ If you cool with it, baby, she can still play."

Drake didn't start hitting mainstream acclaim until 2009 his third mixtape So Far Gone, which featured the tracks "Best I Ever Had" and "Successful," which is likely why news of his relationship with SZA was never known until now. You can listen to "Mr. Right Now" in full above.
