Since the Megan Thee Stallion incident, Tory Lanez has been persona-non-grata. But according to the Torontonian, the several news outlets that have published negative pieces about him in wake of the shooting incident are part of a larger "smear campaign" against him.
Sharing a screenshot of multiple outlets running stories related to him, Tory said, "I've never seen verified publications ... come together with "biased" opinions for a smear campaign on an artist," adding, "However I still have love for each and everyone of you who continue to choose money over truth. My heart and character doesn't change because yours does." In a follow-up post, Lanez leveled the accusation, "I wonder who's paying y'all?!?"
