Elon Musk has been vocal about his take on COVID-19, and now in a new interview, Musk said that he and his family did not have plans on taking a coronavirus vaccine if one was made available.
While on the ‘Sway’ podcast, Musk made it known that he doesn’t think he and his kids are at any type of risk for catching COVID-19. So far, coronavirus has killed over 200,000 in the United States. When asked about COVID-19 and if his family would get the vaccine when one was made available, Musk said no because he’s “not at risk for COVID, nor are my kids.”
The podcast host Kara Swisher asked Musk about the lockdowns brought about to curb the spread of COVID. Musk ended up saying he opposes the lockdowns, with his reasoning being that they don’t “serve the greater good.” Musk said “Essentially, the right thing to do would be to not have done a lockdown for the whole country but to have, I think, anyone who's at risk should be quarantined until the storm passes.”
