According to reports, an 18-year-old was arrested in connection to a suspected retaliation shooting related to the YNW Melly murder case. Indian River County deputies arrested Traveion Banks was arrested on Wednesday for attempted first-degree murder. The arrest followed the shooting which left a 43-year-old man related to YNW Bortlen, real name Cortlen Henry, hospitalized in serious condition. 

Several anonymous tips to police led them to Banks. The man who was shot also told detectives that he recognized Banks and the other man with him from a verbal altercation they had over his relative Cortlen Henry roughly a month ago. 

Banks remains in jail on $250,000 bail and has an arraignment scheduled for Oct. 29. No information about the second alleged shooter has been disclosed.
