Previously, YNW Melly took to Instagram and spoke about his friend and co-defendant YNW Bortlen, who recently was granted bond by a judge. The judge set the bond for $75,000 and also issued a level 1 house arrest for YNW Bortlen. The co-defendant’s trial is set for July 2.
Since then, alleged court documents surfaced, noting that the State of Florida doesn’t have enough evidence against YNW Melly in his murder case.
The document noted that YNW Melly refused to testify against his co-defendant YNW Bortlen, saying “The court has already found the release of the defendant should occur. Indeed, the state has opposed in every way the release of the Defendant in its determined effort to coerce the Defendant to testify against his Co-Defendant, which he refused to do.” Take a look above.
