Following the decision not to charge any of the Louisville Metro Police officers with the killing of 26-year-old Breonna Taylor, protests broke out and things got violent. Two LMPD officers were shot on Wednesday night and authorities have arrested the man they suspect was behind both shootings.
Larynzo D. Johnson, 26, of Louisville, was arrested and charged with two counts of assault on a police officer and 14 counts of wanton endangerment of a police officer.

Two officers were wounded on Wednesday night during the protest in response to the Breonna Taylor decision. According to Interim Louisville Police Chief Robert Schroeder, one person is currently in custody. One of the wounded officers was alert and stable, while the other officer required surgery but is also stable.

According to reports, an officer with the Louisville Metro Police Department was shot at approximately 8:30 PM local time during the night's protest in the wake of the Breonna Taylor decision. Multiple videos are currently circulating social media showing protesters flee as shots began ringing out. Additional details about the officer's condition have not been disclosed.
A curfew has been imposed in Louisville for the next 72 hours between 9 PM and 6:30 AM.
