Niecy Nash announced on Instagram that she's married to singer Jessica Betts.
"Mrs. Carol Denise Betts," read Nash's caption to the Instagram post. While Nash has been a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community, she had never come out publicly until her marriage announcement.
Jessica Betts is a singer and songwriter who started her career on Stonecreek Records in 1998. She was featured on the soundtrack for Big Momma's House and won Road to Stardom in 2005. She's also been inducted as a BET Music Matters artist. Not only have Nash and Betts been longtime friends, but Betts even sang at Nash's previous wedding.
Nash's new marriage comes just months after the divorce from her previous marriage was finalized. Nash filed for divorce from Jay Tucker in December 2019 and the divorce was finalized in March.
