Three Black women were confronted with a racist rant from another woman at Dockweiler Beach this past Sunday. The three women were on their morning run when the woman in the video clip directed racial slurs at them.
In the video footage, the woman is seen calling the police and publicly announcing that she was accosted.
"You guys are so violent. You Africans are so f****** violent," the woman later said.
Later in the video, the woman claimed she was attacked from behind and that her "environment has been harmed by this African black person."
Brittany, Jessyka, and Raquel captured the video footage of the woman on the way back from their run but had originally encountered her at the beginning. Raquel said the group was caught off guard by the woman's racial slurs.
"I have to expose this, so I actually caught up to her and was like, 'Tell me again what you said.' And that's when I started recording and she just continued," Brittany said.
One of the women filed a report with LAPD, while El Segundo police said the woman seen in the video did contact a cop but was told to reach out to LAPD.
