Sarkodie released his second album "Rapperholic" in 2012, which featured the track "U Go Kill Me." Sarkodie gave credit to the track for expanding his profile outside of Ghana and throughout all of Africa. The album also won the rapper a BET Award and an opportunity to join Talib Kweli in the BET Cypher.

In 2014, Sarkodie dropped his third album "Sarkology," which featured his first worldwide record "Adonai." The rapper agreed that the song has been streamed over 100 million times and was a major song in France. However, Sarkodie revealed that Castro, who's featured on the record, has been missing for six following an apparent jet skiing accident.
