Update 08/16/2020 2:00pm

Recently, YBN Nahmir revealed that YBN is no longer a crew and also said he was the last remaining member of the crew. In reference to Cordae and Almighty Jay, Nahmir said “They left this YBN s**t in the gutter. Remember that. I’ll turn it up myself.” Now, it has been revealed that Cordae has dropped the YBN from his name.

Although Cordae hasn’t addressed it head-on, the rapper removed the YBN part of his name on social media pages and streaming platforms. The only platform where Cordae still has the YBN front name is on Twitter. Take a look above.

Earlier today, news spread of the YBN collective splitting after YBN Nahmir tweeted that he was the only member in the crew. YBN Almighty Jay has responded with a since-deleted tweet of his own stating that Nahmir's tweet didn't apply to him and that he's still repping YBN.

"I'm finishing with the same n***** that I started with. That don't apply to me #YBN4L," Jay tweet read.

While it remains to be seen what's the actual status of the crew, there's been no response from the remaining YBN members.

YBN Nahmir shocked fans last night with a tweet announcing that he's the sole member of the YBN crew.

"They left this YBN sh*t in the gutter. Remember that. I’ll turn it up myself," the crew's founder said.

One follower sent a tweet to the rapper for confirmation to which Nahmir responded, "Yea it's only me kid."

The YBN collective entered the scene in 2017 after YBN Nahmir's debut single, "Rubbin Off the Paint," went viral. Not long after, fellow core members YBN Almighty Jay and YBN Cordae started achieving their own solo success. In 2018, the YBN crew announced their first world tour and released their debut project together, YBN: The Mixtape.

Since then, there hasn't been much collaboration among the collective. For example, YBN Cordae's Grammy-nominated debut had no YBN features. YBN Almighty Jay and YBN Cordae have yet to publicly respond to YBN Nahmir's tweet.
