Update 08/11/2020 7:03pm:

In the latest update regarding Dr. Dre's divorce, Nicole Young is requesting access to all of the producer's financial information. She has subpoenaed his accountant for all of Dre's business and accounting records over the last ten years and Dr. Dre is reportedly fighting back against this.

"Throughout our marriage, I have maintained separate books and records regarding my separate property and my separate property business entities," wrote Dre in recent legal documents. "I object to the production of such documents which contain my private information as well as my confidential business information that involves third parties as well."

The music mogul is getting ready to hand over the couple's joint tax returns, which his team feels should provide Nicole with enough information. According to Dre's accountant, they have been keeping separate records from his businesses.

"We prepared a separate retainer agreement for our representation of [Dre's] separate property and separate business interests and another retainer agreement for our work for the parties in connection with one joint community property account, the preparation of joint income tax returns, and the payment of various living expenses for the parties," said the accountant. "We have maintained separate books and records for [Dre] and each of his separate property business entities for the past two decades."

Dr. Dre's accountant also added that the documents requested "span more than a decade and involve at least seven different sets of books and records." The accountant says he was aware of the couple's prenup and was told to follow it from the day he started working for the rapper.

According to the documents, Nicole Young is considering asking a judge to force her husband to hand over $1 million immediately and to "maintain the financial status quo" until both sides can figure out the rest.

Update 08/04/2020 8:28pm:

Just last week after news broke regarding the dissolution of Dr. Dre's marriage, the legendary producer revealed that he a prenuptial agreement that would shield him from divvying up too much of his wealth in the divorce. However, Nicole Young has challenged the prenup and claims that it was voided two years after their marriage.

In legal documents obtained by TMZ, Nicole said of the 1996 prenuptial agreement, "I was extremely reluctant, resistant and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner. Given the extraordinary pressure and intimidation by Andre, I was left with no option but to hire a lawyer (of course, with the help of Andre's team of professionals) and unwillingly signed the agreement very shortly before our marriage."

She continued, "Andre acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me. Since the day he tore up the agreements, we both understood that there was no premarital agreement and that it was null and void."

Reps close to Dre refute Nicole's claims. They say Dre never felt ashamed about the prenup nor did he tear it up. The source added that Nicole had her own lawyer overseeing the entire thing and had a clear choice in signing it or not.

Update 07/29/2020 8:02pm:

According to TMZ, Dr. Dre has answered his wife's divorce petition and revealed that there is a prenuptial agreement in place. Back in June, Dre's wife Nicole Young filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences." She requested that she receive spousal support and asked for a division of property. However, the prenup Dre unveiled states that any division of property would have to be governed under the conditions of the agreement which could spell bad news on that front for Nicole.

Sources close to Dre's soon-to-be ex-wife say that she had no knowledge of there being a prenuptial agreement and she made no mention of it in the divorce filing.
