According to reports, up-and-coming Indianapolis rapper Smack Peso was shot and killed on the south side of Indianapolis Friday afternoon. The shooting occurred at 2 PM and Smack Peso reportedly died on the scene while another male at the scene was rushed to the hospital and is now in critical condition. Authorities say a child was also inside the apartment at the time of the shooting but was unharmed.
Law enforcement pursued a vehicle that fled the scene for a brief moment before they pulled over. Upon searching the vehicle, authorities found a third victim in the incident who was subsequently rushed to the hospital and is also in critical condition. Another shooting victim was taken to a hospital on Indianapolis's south side but investigators aren't certain they were involved in the same shooting.
A bit of disturbing information associated with this case is Smack Peso posted a new track "See Me Get Killed" hours before his murder.
